I currently live in Toronto. I want to get away and move. I’m looking for somewhere out of province, affordable, and has a great economy. Does anyone have ideas? Why did you pick that place?

There are many cities in Canada that have a strong economy and are relatively affordable, depending on your budget and lifestyle preferences. Some options to consider include:

  • Regina, Saskatchewan: Regina has a diversified economy and a relatively low cost of living. It's a small city with a friendly community and a relatively low crime rate.

  • Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario: Kitchener-Waterloo is a twin city located in the region of Waterloo, Ontario. It has a rapidly growing tech industry, low unemployment, and a relatively low cost of living compared to larger cities like Toronto.

  • Halifax, Nova Scotia: Halifax has a strong economy with a growing technology and start-up scene, as well as a thriving port and tourism industry. The cost of living is lower than larger cities like Toronto and Vancouver and has a great coastal lifestyle.

  • Quebec City, Quebec: Quebec City is a beautiful and historic city with a strong economy. It has a lower cost of living than Montreal and Toronto, and a growing tech industry.
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list and there are many other places which you can explore which might suit your needs and preferences. And, it's always a good idea to visit the place before making a decision and explore the place, the people and the culture before taking a final decision.
